CareerEnhance project launch
October 29, 2026

The CareerEnhance project officially kicked off this month!

Led by UiT The Arctic University of Norway, the initiative brings together 20 partners across 13 countries, backed by a Reference Group of over 30 leading organisations. Funded by Horizon Europe, CareerEnhance aims to strengthen research careers across Europe by establishing a European Community of Practice to drive the adoption and integration of the European Framework for Research Careers (EFRC) and ResearchComp.

CareerEnhance directly builds upon the outputs and momentum generated by the DocEnhance project. Connect with the DocEnhance community to stay up to date with our upcoming activities, news, and joint efforts in shaping European research career development.

The first day was dedicated to brief partner presentations and each Work Package, as well as hosting the first General Assembly. It also included the presentation of the External Advisory Board and the project officer from REA and their expectations. The second day was titled "Framing: Transforming messy, abstract challenges, tasks and deliverables into clear, actionable outputs" and invited the coordinator from the sister project ERA-CAREERS to share their work.

On the last day, the graphic recorder presented her visual summaries, which are presented in the video below.
